Biography
I’m Behnam Faghih, a full-stack and data engineer who has spent the better part of a decade turning sprawling operational data into tidy, reliable platforms that people can actually use. My work began in large-scale electricity projects, where I learned the discipline of well-modelled schemas and the value of a clear dashboard for finance teams. From there I moved into consulting, building greenfield data marts for smaller businesses and teaching them how to keep their pipelines healthy long after handover.
More recently I’ve led the warehouse rebuild for SiteAgle Tech, reshaping their asset-tracking store on PostgreSQL/PostGIS and tightening governance processes alongside product and compliance colleagues. Before that I redesigned Mealzo’s analytics stack to experiment instead of babysitting jobs. The thread that runs through every role—whether I’m writing C# on .NET, orchestrating SSIS or Python or data pipelines, or standing up Docker containers—is a focus on clarity, performance, and data that stands up to an audit.
I work best side-by-side with analysts and product managers, translating business rules into star-schema models and leaving teams with a platform that feels solid underfoot.
